Electrician Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Electrician's Helper to assist with residential
and commercial electrical work. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking
to learn and grow in the electrical trade.

Responsabilities

  • Assist electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems

  • Handle tools, equipment, and materials necessary for electrical work

  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all job sites

  •  Perform general labor tasks as required to support the electrical team

  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers

  • Learn and use software tools in the field

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Desire to learn and advance electrical skills

  •  Valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record

  •  Reliable and courteous with a strong work ethic

  • Team player who is willing to assist in all aspects of the job

Preferred but not Required

  • Some experience in electrical work or other construction trade

  • Classroom training in the electrical trade

Electrical Project Manager

This position will be responsible for managing our commercial customer's construction projects
and qualified candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment while
maintaining a great reputation with our internal and external customers.

Responsabilities

  • Manage and be responsible for project team’s work including field foreman.

  •  Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and cost breakdown charts.

  •  Estimate, negotiate and process change orders, and maintain project change order logs.

  • Process, review, transmit and respond to submittals

  •  Coordinate with foreman for RFI’s

  • Assist in the buyout process

  •  Coordinate with onsite foreman for adequate tools and equipment.

  •  Manage subcontractors as required.

  •  Lead and promote safety in the workplace

  •  Review estimates and develop bid proposals and elperform takeoffs from time to time.

  • Effective communication and responsiveness to GC and clients, including attending
    meetings onsite as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  •  Ability to manage time and resources

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Team mentality

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft products

  • Strong commercial electrical trade knowledge

  •  Ability to climb and work in tight areas

  • Experience managing electrical projects $500,000 to over $2 Million in value.

Preferred but not Required

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Electrical Bid Manager (EBM), Planswift,
    Primavera P6

  • PMP or other industry certification

Expected Work Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm, M-F, Onsite or as required by project duties.

Pay: Depending on experience, $60,000 - $100,000

Project Engineer

Entry level electrical engineer to support construction and design activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in fire alarm system designs, short circuit and coordination studies with arc flash analysis
    reports

  • Develop shop drawings and coordinate with vendors

  • Assist in pre-construction and prefabrication activities that promote efficiency

  • Perform as-built documentation

  • Assist in project management activities, and report to the project manager

  • Work with Senior engineers developing schematic designs

Desired Qualifications

  • BS. Electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution

  • Strong mathematical and abstract concept abilities

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, EIT certification, or ability to attain certification

Preferred but not Required

  • 0-2 years of experience working as a design engineer.
